Scott Rifkin

Partnerships

Scott is passionate about helping transitioning service members, veterans, military spouses, and other dependents as they transition from through major life events. In this capacity he currently volunteers with Kolena Foundation, Vets2Industry, Veterati and the Southern Nevada Veterans Chamber of Commerce and is actively mentoring a transitioning service member.

He is also a 15-year veteran of the U.S. Army having served as an Armor crewman on active duty and the reserves from February 1983 through April 1998. Duty assignments included both Cavalry and Armor. During his time in the service, he served in multiple company level positions and as a Tank Commander on the M60A3 Patton and M1A1 Abrams Tanks.

Scott has 30 years of professional experience driving large-scale, multi-million-dollar projects and programs for a wide range of public and private sector clients.

He graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Arts in History and minors in Math and Computer Science.  Scott also has a Master of Science in Operations and Project Management from Southern New Hampshire University.

In addition to multiple Good Conduct medals, four Army Achievement medals and wide variety of certificates from his time in the Army, Scott was also awarded the 1992 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Distinguish Leadership Award from the University of Arizona, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Student Center. The award is inscribed, “This recognition is bestowed upon you for “Keeping the dream alive” and being at the forefront of social change as well as your support of Civil Rights.
